About Me

Meet your counsellor

I am a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and I receive regular supervision from a BACP accredited supervisor.

I have studied with the University of Salford since 2006. I received my Graduate Certificate in Counselling in 2008, then went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Science joint honors degree in Psychology and Counselling.

From there I worked as a telephone counsellor within the Royal Mail, dealing with many client issues such as Bullying and Harassment in the work place, workplace grievances, debt worries and bereavement to name a few.

In 2015 I gained my Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Introduction to skills certificate, and in 2016 completed my Post Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy and Counselling.

During this time I have worked closely with Bereavement and Loss and also the LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer) community.

I take an active interest in my ongoing professional development, and I am currently working towards a Diploma in Mindfulness. I have also recently completed the course ASIST. (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) An internationally recognised course.
