Understanding NLP
Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) is a practical way of understanding how your thoughts, language, and habits work together to shape how you feel and behave. It’s based on the idea that we all run patterns,often unconsciously, that influence our reactions, confidence, and choices. NLP helps you become aware of those patterns and, more importantly, change them so you can respond in a way that feels more helpful and aligned with what you want.
In a session, this might involve simple, guided techniques such as anchoring more resourceful states like calm or confidence, reframing unhelpful thoughts, or visualising situations in a different way to reduce emotional intensity. The process is conversational, practical, and tailored to you,with a focus on helping you notice real shifts in how you think, feel, and respond in everyday situations.
